Gal 3:5 (isv) Does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you because you do the actions (works) of the Law or because you believe what you heard (Gospel)?
It is only because of our faith in Jesus that we have the Holy Spirit within us, not our works (Titus 3:5).
No amount of effort of our own will ever impress God or earn us a way into His presence (John 6:63, Gal 3:3, 3:11, 5:16, Rom 8:28).
Everything we do for God must be with and through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 2:4-5, 4:20, 2 Cor 4:7, Eph 1:19, 3:16, 2 Thess 1:11, 2 Tim 1:7).
