Luke 6:8 (kjvlite) But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
When Jesus called the man forward He used the greek word “ἐγείρω” which has the connotation of “resurrection from the dead”.
This was a subtle exhibition of His power to “raise the dead”, something only a Messiah could do, as well as a prophetic implication of His own future resurrection (John 2:19, Mark 8:31, Matt 17:22).
