And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Matt 20:27 (kjv)
It takes humility to serve others since we must set our pride aside to do so.
Jesus set the example that He wants us to follow (Matt 11:29, 20:28, 23:11, Mark 9:35, 10:43, John 13:14, Phil 2:5-8).
Humility (thinking of others) precludes the insidious intrusion of pride into our life.
It doesn’t get any clearer: God wants us to be humble! 😔
Helping others, being generous, praying for others, even giving an encouraging word or text to someone are ways to be humble (Psalm 35:13): all of which honor, worship and glorify God. 🤗
